Blame the animators too bruhv.... I've read the Manga and certain scenes in the anime amplifies how weak he is by making him look and talk and behave weak. In the Manga, even though he's still a punching bag, at least he looks cool and tough being one. But if you think about, regardless of how he was animated, it's his fault that Hakkai joined black dragon.

because there are plenty of variables that can change things for the worse. Takemitchy can't recall how this timeline plays out and thus won't know what circumstance needs to change. And if he could do it so easily then there would be little hurdle to overcome

Yeah, the two things that never changed thus far are both Hina's and Akkun's death since no matter what Takemitchy does Kisaki always got these two killed.

And a another variable is it's like a fixed point in time.
It's one of those temporal occurrence that can't really be change at all or hardly at all.

Doesn't he just save her by stop socializing with her? Or go back to a point where they met and prevent it from happening? that way she's never associated with gangs etc... Like it seems simple I dunno

1. IDK if you forgot but, back at S1 he was literally not part of Toman and cut ties with Hina after middle school and only got news about her when she died because of Toman. Plus I don't think stopping socializing with Hina will prevent her death like look at S1E1 they literally cut ties but she still died.

2. Reason why Hina keeps dying in the future is because of Kisaki and Takemichi cant prevent them from meeting each other since they knew each other since they were kids and Takemichi can only go back 12 years YK.

All those things were said at S1, IDK if you forgot about it hahaha

1. In the Original timeline, he did stop socializing with her. He broke up with her when he was forced to move away after things got to be too much for him in Toma. She still died. Which lead him to talking to her brother and saving him in the future the first time he goes back in time.. but it doesn't save her.

2. He can only go EXACTLY 5 years to the past/present. If a day passes in the past, he'll come back to the present a day later than he left. If a few days pass in the present, he'll go back to the past a few days latter. He cannot go back to when he met her.

Because he's supposed to be a character that the average viewer can relate to as much as possible. They do the same thing in hentai on a visual level by making the protagonist ugly and fat.
